Frequently asked questions

Do I need a contract on Fiverr or Upwork?

Usually not. The platform's terms of service and its payment protection cover your orders. Contracts are most important for direct clients, such as clients you find through LinkedIn, referrals or local businesses.

Is an agreement by email enough?

A clear email agreement is much better than nothing, and it can serve as written proof of what you agreed. For bigger projects, a signed document is safer.

Can I edit the text?

Yes. Use Copy text to paste the agreement into a document, then change anything you need.
